Startup Army Managing Partner Joey Flores was previously Director of Business Development for lead generation marketing startup Affiliate Fuel, leading to its acquisition by Experian in 2005. After the departure of its cofounders in 2006, Joey took over management of the organization during its tri-merger with ClassesUSA.com and mortgage powerhouse LowerMyBills. While helping to successfully integrate the three companies' platforms into Experian Interactive Media, thereby solidifying their position as a Top Ten Internet advertiser, he grew the Affiliate Fuel division from $19M in annual revenue to a trend of $48M in just under two years. In 2008 he left EIM to lead online marketing for consumer brand Mota Motors (www.Mota.com). The VC-funded company was recently named one of the Top 50 Most Promising Startups of 2009 by BusinessWeek and a TechCrunch50 startup.
Joey's leadership and effective decision making is a key part of Startup Army's ability to provide startups with marketing solutions that address their immediate needs while keeping their long term objectives in mind. Whether we're assisting new companies with launching their first marketing efforts, or optimizing large, existing budgets, we understand online marketing and design smart, scalable, revenue-focused solutions for every stage of business.
